Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest daughter of three born in Stamford Connecticut in the year 1978, to Eileen Dolan (nee Medvey) and Dimitrios R. Psaki. Dimitrios R. Psaki is a retired real estate developer whose grandfather immigrated in 1904 from Greece and whose maternal grandmother was Irish. In the year 1976, her parents got married. Psaki is also of Polish descent. She attended Greenwich High School 1996. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000 with a degree both in English and sociology. She is an active part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki competed in backstroke swimming for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki was first involved during the 2001 re-election campaigns by Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki's new role as an analyst for 2022's United States elections, and in the presidential election of 2024. In 2023, Psaki will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform. The first time Psaki made an appearance came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting.
